Former D&C editor alleges racial discrimination in lawsuit against Gannett

A former Democrat and Chronicle editor who was among employees who lost a job during a round of layoffs at Gannett alleges in a lawsuit that he was terminated because he is white.

The former editor, Steven Bradley, also alleges in the lawsuit that he was not hired later for a top management position at the Gannett-owned Utica Observer-Dispatch because of his race.
